What a breath of fresh air. When moving from one state to the next it’s very important to pick a realtor to not only find you a home but to find you “Your” home. Maya was not only our realtor she was the calm hand in the dark that lead us through the stress and anxiety of moving from Florida to NC. She listened, took all the information that we gave and found us the perfect home. She is not the typical realtor that sells you a home and then you never hear from again. She continues till this day to check in and gives us advice on what to do for the holidays and where to go when we are looking to do something with our 2 children. Maya helped me with my out-of-state move back in 2017 and went above and beyond for our new construction build, as we were remote during the whole process. But life changes and as I was navigating a divorce during the pandemic, Maya was there for me not only as my agent but as my friend and part of my support system during that time. She helped me purchase a condo in downtown Raleigh, and the building was the first condo building to be constructed in over 10 years. Condos are not as common in the triangle, but she was so knowledgeable from when she was an agent in Florida where it is more common to buy and sell a condo in that market. Her knowledge, guidance, expertise, care, and compassion are why everyone loves Maya. She has become a good friend after all these years, so if you are looking for an agent who really cares and isn't just in it for the transaction, Maya is your girl.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Maya and Gina. As first-time home buyers in a crazy market, we were completely terrified of even looking for a house! We had a rough experience with our first realtor and were referred to Maya and team soon after. Maya immediately treated us like family. She was honest, knowledgeable, and kind. Soon after we spoke on the phone Gina took us to look at homes. She was professional and so helpful. We didn’t know what we were looking at at some points and Gina talked us through what to look for and helped us see the potential in different spaces. When the home we were going to put an offer in on turned out to be out of our range (too much fixing up needed), Maya took it upon herself to go look at homes for us since we were moving from states away. She took videos of not only the home but of the neighborhood and did a true walk-through to make us feel like we were there. Throughout the buying process Maya and team were so patient and answered all of our questions, no matter how silly they seemed to us. Once we purchased our home and began to move in, we found that the seller left some damage behind that was not there during our inspection. Maya and her husband came over and installed new blinds, repaired a hole in our baseboard, and she even wiped down spots on our wall with a magic eraser. She also sent her son and a friend to help us move heavy furniture in. This was completely unexpected from a realtor. Who goes out of their way like that for people they barely know?! This is just how Maya runs her business. She is professional, friendly, kind, fun-loving, and overall an amazing person! We cannot recommend Legacy enough and will be using them again and again!

Gina was the star of both our purchase and our sale. We needed extra inspections near to the closing date and where we couldn’t find anyone with time on their schedule, Gina came through repeatedly. She helped us make sense of the findings, helped us strategize our requests, and gave solid advice at every turn. I know she’s got a lot going on all the time but we never felt like we were bothering her when we needed someone to talk through the several unforeseen bumps we had in the road. When you’re buying or selling a home, even a few hours of uncertainty on these issues could have left us feeling lost or raised our blood pressure—but we never had to feel that way because Gina always made herself available and ready to calm us down. What could have been a convoluted stress show at every stage of our purchase and sale went smoothly and with a minimum of headache.
After our experience with her, I won't make another move without Gina. Absolutely invaluable.
